<p>The device comprises a shaft secured to the cart, a handle attached to the shaft and provided with two resilient arms for pulling the cart and a belt with two ends which can be joined together via a snap-fit coupling in order to secure the belt around the body of the person pulling the cart. Two struts fixed to the cart are connected to the shaft via a friction coupling and are used to fix the lateral and angular positions of the shaft relative to the cart. Tension in the belt causes the handle arms to bend, allowing the handle mounting and shaft to move in the horizontal plane relative to the body of the person pulling the cart.</p> |
