The method involves tightly closing a non-accessible closed end (102) of a buried/embedded pipe (10). A flexible tube (18) extending to a short distance from the end is introduced inside the pipe for separating a space inside the pipe, along the tube, where the space is provided between an inner path (26) situated inside the tube and an outer path (28) delimited between walls of the tube and the pipe, respectively. The inner and outer paths are enabled to communicate with each other, near the end, for permitting to use one path for an air supply and the other path for evacuating an air flow. An independent claim is also included for a pipe reconstructing installation comprising an opening end.
