The invention relates to a composition containing at least one percarboxylic acid and at least one ethoxylated, non-ethoxylated, or oxypropylene unit-containing sorbitan ester. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a composition and the use thereof. The inventive percarboxylic acid composition is used especially as a disinfectant. Surprisingly, using sorbitan esters significantly stabilizes the percarboxylic acid and therefore allows the disclosed products to be utilized longer than percarboxylic acid compositions known in prior art. |
