<p>Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods for constructing floors and/or roofs of buildings using foam forms, such as insulated concrete forms. Current use of such forms is limited to exterior wall systems, in addition to resulting in a concrete structure with structural discontinuities. The present invention includes one or more forms (602,604) having openings (622) to engage beams (624, 626, 628). The form (604) is secured to the beams (626, 628) using attachment systems (630, 632), which include anchor pins (638, 640) and attachment and support stands (634, 636). Concrete is poured over the floor and/or roof system in a single event, creating one distinct monolithic unit, thus minimizing structural discontinuities.</p> |
