<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective component for a sign excelling in maintainability and manufacturing efficiency, and indicating its suitable replacement timing. <P>SOLUTION: The reflective component for the sign is provided with: a sheet-like reflecting means for reflecting light; a support band for mounting the reflecting means; and a holding means for holding the reflecting means between itself and the support band. The reflecting means is provided with an antifouling means such as a photocatalyst in the form of a predetermined space, characters, symbols, a pattern, a number, or the like. As fouling gets worse, the difference of a light reflecting degree between a part provided with the antifouling means and a part not provided with it becomes large.
