PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus whereby setting contents in the case of applying double-side printing to a double-side original can easily be confirmed on an operation display section. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, setting associated with the double-side original and a double-side output such as a filing direction of the original, a setting direction of the original, and file margin direction of a double-side printed matter is performed at the operation display section 107, original icons and output icons representing the setting state are displayed on the operation display section 107.
