<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cord that can be easily identifiable even in the presence of a large number of cords. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber cord has an identification symbol 550 and an identification color 549 on the jacket, with more than one identification symbols 550 marked at specified distances in the circumferential direction of the jacket. This makes the optical fiber cord identifiable regardless of its position in the circumferential direction.
