PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file transmission technology in which retransmission control is not made complex, even when transmission errors occur. SOLUTION: A communication terminal performs a job for transmitting an inspection designation file with respect to an apparatus. When an error occurs in transmission or reception of the inspection designation file, retransmission job is performed, after the lapse of a predetermined time. When a new transmission job has been created for the same apparatus, retransmission job is deleted. Alternatively, a retransmission job created before is deleted, when a separate retransmission job exists with respect to the same apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
