PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projection device using a combination of a projector and a screen device, which obtains a projection video of high video quality by preventing a contrast decrease resulting from rising of a black level in a bright environment. SOLUTION: In the video projector, high video quality is obtained by projecting the video onto a screen 11 that is controlled so that reflectivity is high when pulse light is emitted from a projector that has a pulse light emission light source 12 of at least about 1/4 or less duty ratio or from a projector used in combination with it, and the reflectivity is low when pulse light is not emitted therefrom.
