The system has a transmitter (11), a receiver (12) and a control device (15) installed in a vehicle (10). A portable device (1) e.g. smart key, is carried by a user and implements intercommunication with the transmitter, receiver and control device. The portable device comprises a local information conveying mechanism for conveying local information of the vehicle by using the intercommunication. A communication device is provided in order to inform the user about the local information of the vehicle.
