PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage mail addresses for registration which are different for every site, and make it possible to specify a registration destination site corresponding to the mail address for registration. SOLUTION: When a user performs user registration to a service provider of a registration destination, a device for managing the mail address creates the mail address for registration for every registration point; uniquely corresponds a registration destination, the mail address for registration, and a real mail address; and manages them. A mail sent to the mail address for registration from the registration point is transferred to the real mail address of the user using management information in the mail address management device. In this case, the device gives an identification ID, manages the identification ID corresponding to the mail address for registration, acquires information of the registration point from the management information when there is an inquiry of the registration point corresponding to the identification ID from a user, and notifies it to the user.
