PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device achieving a uniformity in temperature of the outer peripheral face of a rotor by preventing a deterioration of heat responsiveness and sensitivity in a temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the rotor. SOLUTION: The image heating device has the temperature detection means 15 in the reverse side of the rotor in a contact region of the outer peripheral face of the rotor 10 and a heat resistant sheet 16.
