METHOD FOR STORING AND/OR TRANSPORTING MODIFIED DIPHENYLMETHANE DIISOCYANATE IN LIQUID STATE AT NORMAL TEMPERATURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for storage and/or transportation of a modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate in liquid state at normal temperature that can prevent deterioration caused when changed into a uretidione by a long storage without changing the characteristics of liquid MDI. SOLUTION: According to the method for storing and/or transporting the modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate, the modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate in a liquid state at normal temperature in which a part of an isocyanate group of the diphenylmethane diisocyanate comprising≥97 wt.% of 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate is carbodiimide-modified or uretonimine-modified is stored and/or transported in a frozen and solidified state at≤0°C.
