TUBULAR MOLDED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a tubular molded article having a good mechanical strength.

SOLUTION: This method for producing the tubular molded article obtained from a resin composition containing a liquid crystalline resin and showing≤80% molecular degree of orientation in the length direction of the tubular molded article by a crystalline orientation analysis with a wide angle X-ray diffraction of a cut open sample of the tubular molded article is provided by melt-extruding the resin composition containing the liquid crystalline resin from a ring-formed die, extending the tube diameter to 1.3 to 5.0 folds of the die slip diameter before the solidification of the molten resin composition so as to orient the liquid crystalline resin contained in the resin composition in 2 directions.
