<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garage parking assistant device with high reliability resistant to deterioration and not requiring active function relative to a garage side, in a garage storage assistant device for performing assistance of collision prevention at garage parking of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A mono-pulse radar 20 is mounted to a neighborhood to a license plate at a rear side of the vehicle. The mono-pulse radar 20 irradiates an electric wave pulse of linearly polarized wave toward the ground. A corner reflector for converting the polarized wave of the input electric wave to a linearly advancing polarized wave and reflecting it is buried in the ground of the garage and is covered by a radome passing the electric wave. The mono-pulse radar 20 has two receiving antennas and it is detected that a position of the corner reflector is deviated to a center of the vehicle or left/right side from phase difference of a reflection wave received by the two receiving antennas. When the position of the corner reflector is deviated to the left/right side of the vehicle, the matter is informed to a driver, the garage parking can be facilitated by operating the vehicle by the driver such that the corner reflector is positioned at the center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
