CONTENT CHARACTERISTIC ANALYSIS APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content characteristic analysis apparatus, method, and program capable of obtaining an analysis result associated with delay fluctuations in a way of clarifying the effect on the user's bodily sensation quality under an in-service environment.

SOLUTION: A quality characteristic analysis section 15 calculates a quality characteristic denoting a cross-reference between a quality estimate scale and a quality evaluation value by each content genre on the basis of each of measurement data comprising a set obtained by a content of each content genre exchanged via a packet network 5 under various packet behavior characteristics and composed of the quality estimate scale from a quality estimate scale calculation section 13 and the quality evaluation value from a quality evaluation acquisition section 14 and classifies each capable of genre into a quality characteristic class on the basis of the similarity of the quality characteristic, and a content class determining section 16 determines a content class on the basis of the quality characteristic class obtained by the quality characteristic analysis section 15 and the division necessity of the quality characteristic class discriminated by the packet transmission characteristic of the content genre classified depending on the quality characteristic class.
