<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for determining driver character capable of automatically determining the character of a driver, and to provide a vehicle-use navigation system which is constituted by employing the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for determining driver character 12 acquires behavioral information of a driver for a vehicle, when the vehicle is in travelling and maintenance states, and the character of the driver is determined by a character determination processing section 5, based on the information. More specifically, "the degree of impatience" is determined according to the relative frequency of oil supply timings, and "fidelity to rules" is evaluated, based on the matching level between a route on which the vehicle actually travels this time in an area ranging from a start point, to a destination and a route included in a travel history of the area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
