FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of bent products from short thick-wall tubes. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of filling cavity of blank with filler and performing bending in lever type die by means of deforming punch; applying to lower halves of end surfaces of blank mutually opposite compression efforts created by means of cams in the form of outer end members of levers of lever die; determining motion length path of each cam rotating by half of bending angle of blank according to given formula. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of bent product. ^ 2 dwg, 1 ex
