PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for tandem alternator which increases structural output by simple structure. SOLUTION: A depression 523 is recessed to surround a rotating shaft 6, at the rear end face of a rear Lundell type rotor core 5. Hereby, a rear bearing 8, a large-diameter step 61 at a rotating shaft 6, etc. can be arranged closely at the rear Lundell type rotor core 5, therefore the distance between a front bearing 7 and the rear bearing 8 can be shortened, and the tolerable maximum number of revolutions of the rotor can be increased in proportion.
