PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device which can reduce pressure loss in a liquid feeding passage for feeding liquid to a droplet discharge heads, and substantially uniforming a back pressure of each of the droplet discharge heads. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the droplet discharge device, ink is fed from sub-tanks 60, 62 opened to the atmosphere, to the linearly arranged recording heads 32. The sub-tanks 60, 62 are connected together by an ink channel 72, and if the ink in one of the sub-tanks 60, 62 is reduced, a head difference occurs between the sub-tanks 60, 62, which causes ink flow from one of the sub-tanks 60, 62 (the sub-tank in which the ink is reduced) to the other sub-tank. Thus the sub-tanks 60, 62 always have the same ink level height, and therefore the back pressure generated at each recording head 32 is substantially equalized, to thereby prevent ink droplets discharged from nozzles N from varying.
