A folding door assembly is provided to fold many doors easily using a hinge assembly when the door has a projecting handle as well as a built-in handle. A folding door assembly comprises many doors(10) installed to be slidable horizontally along a doorframe, a hinge assembly(100) located between the door, the doorframe, and adjacent doors to connect them to be foldable, and locking devices limiting the folding of the doors and having a handle(310) coupled with a carrier interlocked in a vertical direction along the inside of a handle frame of the hinge assembly and upper and lower locking plates coupled to the carrier to be locked in or released from a locking groove of the doorframe selectively according to the rotation of the handle. The hinge assembly comprises a handle frame(110) located between doors and equipped with a movable shaft(111) extended in a longitudinal direction, a plate(120) extended in a longitudinal direction and coupled to an adjacent door frame, and a movable frame(130) extended to the outer end of the plate and provided with a ring-shaped guide groove coupled to the movable shaft of the handle frame and a guider(131) with a 90-degree opening. |
