A speaker device has a cabinet, a speaker unit fixed to the cabinet, and powder-like gas adsorption bodies for physically adsorbing gas present in the space in the cabinet. The average particle diameter of the gas adsorption bodies is less than 0.1 mm. The speaker device is capable of reproducing rich bass sound and is small in size, and in the speaker device, the bass range is extended, lowering in a sound pressure level is prevented, and a volume expansion effect is exhibited also in a high frequency range equal to or above 100-200 Hz.
