<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device in which a printing condition or the like can be easily set. SOLUTION: An HTML 92a for a system having a set item such as a printing condition as hyper-text type display information and a browser 92c for a panel capable of reading the hyper-text type display information are stored in an EEPROM 92 in a controlling part 90 of a printer. When the programs are executed by a CPU 91, the set item such as the printing condition is displayed at a display part 98a. Moreover, a part of file is readable in the HTML 92a for the system so that a user can change the related destination of link of the hyper-text type display information by a host computer or the like, and set the items to be frequently referred to by the user in the upper rank hierarchy. The changed display information is stored in an HTML area 93c for the user of an RAM 93, and the changed set item such as the printing condition is displayed at the display part 98a.</p> |
