A system for automatically monitoring illegal stopping/parking is provided to effectively collect violation information by using a camera on a vehicle and transmitting the violation information through a communication network. An on-vehicle illegal stopping/parking monitoring system(200) includes a camera(210) mounted on a control vehicle and a site operating device(220) mounted in the vehicle and connected to the camera. The site operating device controls the camera during operation, such that site images are taken at least once in forward and reverse directions. The site operating system analyzes the images in real time and generates violation information including the number, violation position, size, color, and violation time of a vehicle which has violated the traffic rules. At least one of a controller(221) of the site operating device, the site operating device, and an operation terminal in the center system transmits the violation information to a portable terminal of an officer. |
