THIXOTROPIC GEL TYPE COSMETIC COMPOSITION

A thixotropic gel type cosmetic composition is provided to secure strong thixotropic characteristic without lowering of viscosity according to UV radiation, provide the excellent moist property with little stickiness and be prepare by a simple process. A thixotropic gel type cosmetic composition comprises a cellulose mixture consisting of microcrystalline cellulose and cellulose gum, wherein the content of the cellulose mixture regarding the total weight of the cosmetic composition is 0.05-10 wt.% and the remaining consists of purified water. The composition further comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of moisturizer, discoloration preventive agent, oil, surfactant, wax, water-soluble polymer, ethanol, preservative, perfume and neutralizer.
