A polishing apparatus of a welding tip is provided to control a rotation speed of a polishing gear by sticking a rotation plate to one surface of the polishing gear and by installing a rotation sensor sensing a rotation state of the rotation plate in one side of a dressing unit. A polishing apparatus of a welding tip comprises: a main frame, a motor installed in one side of the main frame, a dressing unit(30) installed in one side of the main frame, in which a polishing gear(35) mounted with a cutter(35a) is installed in an inside diameter portion, a rotation plate(45) attached to one surface of the polishing gear, which is rotated with the polishing gear, a rotation sensor(40) outputting a rotation sensing signal corresponding to rotation of the rotation plate, a clock unit installed in other side of the main frame, which provides time information, an alarm installed in another side of the main frame, and a controller controlling the rotation sensor, the motor, the clock unit and the alarm. |
