A method for dyeing cocoons is provided to make it possible to dye the cocoons in various colors, thereby having useful application to various items, accessories, education, ornaments, and art. Cocoons are pretreated. A glacial acetic acid and a dye are dissolved in water of 50-60°C, thereby regulating the concentration of dye within a dyeing solution. The cocoons are submerged in the dyeing solution while the cocoons are put on a net. The cocoons dyed with the dyeing solution are inputted in water containing a mordant, thereby mordanting the cocoons. The mordanted cocoons are dried. The concentration of the dye is sampled by putting two or three cocoons in the dyeing solution after regulating the concentration of dye within the dyeing solution. |
