摘要 An adsorption device for removal and/or reduction of at least one component from blood comprising porous polysaccharide particles, where (a) the particles have an average size of 210+-50 mu m, (b) at least 30% of the particles have a size of 180-240 mu m, (c) at least 70% of the particles have a size of 150-300 mu m, and the particles having at least one immobilized ligand, where the immobilized ligand has a size of 150 kD or less, is new. Independent claims are: (1) a kit for the removal of at least one component from blood comprising (a) the adsorption device, and (b) a container comprising at least a pharmaceutical agent and at least a first "biotin molecule" coupled via a linker 1 to a targeting binding moiety; (2) a kit for the removal of at least one component from blood, where linker 1 is omitted; (3) a kit for removal of component from blood comprising (a) the adsorption device, and (b) a conjugate comprising a trifunctional cross-linking moiety selected from triaminobenzene, tricarboxybenzene, dicarboxyaniline, or diaminobenzoic acid, the trifunctional cross-linking moiety is coupled (i) via a linker 1 to a biotin molecule selected from biotin derivatives having the same binding function to avidin or streptavidin as biotin, (ii) via a linker 2 to a biotin molecule selected from biotin derivatives having the same binding function to avidin or streptavidin as biotin, and (iii) via a linker 3 to a target binding moiety, where the linkers contain hydrogen bonding atoms; and (4) a kit for removal of component from blood comprising (a) the adsorption device, and (b) a conjugate comprising a targeting agent/molecule bound via a linker 3 to at least one trifunctional cross-linking moiety selected from triaminobenzene, tricarboxybenzene, dicarboxyaniline, or diaminobenzoic acid, the trifunctional cross-linking moiety is coupled (i) via a linker 1 to a biotin molecule selected from biotin derivatives having the same binding function to avidin or streptavidin as biotin, and (ii) via a linker 2 to at least one cytotoxic agent.
