A metallic ball for manufacturing reduced water and a filter containing the same are provided to improve the antibiotic performance of the filter, by manufacturing the metallic ball using an inorganic ceramic coating layer containing an antibiotic component. A metallic ball for manufacturing reduced water comprises a metal particle, and 0.1-30 wt% of an inorganic ceramic coating layer based on the entire weight thereof. The inorganic ceramic coating layer is formed on a surface of the metal particle. The inorganic ceramic coating layer contains one or more components selected from Ag and Zn. The metal particle is formed of Ca, Mg, Zn, and an alloy thereof. A filter for manufacturing the reduced water comprises the metallic ball.
