A display controlling apparatus for controlling a font size variably is provided to compute a font size suitable for displaying data instead of images which are displayed in window and display the computed fonts, thereby improving display quality of text data and providing optimized window size to a user. A display controlling apparatus for controlling a font size variably includes a reference window size information database(402), a reference font information database(404), a window size detecting module(406), a window size changing rate computation module(408), a font size computation module(410), and a display module(412). The reference window size information database stores information related to reference size of the window. The reference font information database stores reference size information of fonts to be displayed. The window size detecting module detects window size information when window size is changed. The window size changing rate computation module computes a window size change rate. |
