<p>This invention relates to a mat for retarding vegetation growth, said mat configured to be capable of, while in use of at least partially surrounding terrain adjusted to a column base, characterised in that the mat includes a plurality of discrete rubber pieces. The mat helps prevent the growth of vegetation for a substantial amount of time without the need for continuous maintenance, or the requirement of additional anchors, or contaminate the surrounding area or wildlife.</p> |
