The pump (1) has an outer toothed ring arranged in a housing (2), and an inner toothed ring with external teeth. Suction and pressure areas are in fluid connection with respective toothed intermediate areas. The suction and pressure areas are limited by a cut-off wheel and a separating pin that are rotatable relative to each other, where volume of the suction area is increased and/or decreased with respect to volume of the pressure area through relative rotation of the wheel and the pin. Electromagnets (7, 8) and a permanent magnet (10) are provided for relative rotation of the wheel and pin.
