INTRAOCULAR LENSES WITH ENHANCED OFF-AXIS VISUAL PERFORMANCE

Intraocular lens with enhanced off-axis visual performance is provided to improve compensation for multiple chromatic aberrations. Intraocular lens with enhanced off-axis visual performance includes posterior optic(14) and anterior optic(12). One of the posterior optic and the anterior optic provides compensation for radially symmetrical chromatic aberrations, and the other optic provides compensation for the radially non-symmetrical chromatic aberrations. The radially symmetrical chromatic aberrations include spherical aberration. The radially non-symmetrical chromatic aberrations include an optional one among the coma chromatic aberrations and trefoil chromatic aberrations.
