<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving terminal capable of storing received broadcast information in a complete form without any deficiency and acquiring deficient information while taking power consumption, communication cost, and a necessary time into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcast signal receiving unit 11 receives a broadcast signal. A storage unit 12 stores broadcast information included in the received broadcast signal. A detector detects the deficient part of the received broadcast information. A deficient part storage unit 13 stores the detected deficient part of the broadcast information. A deficient information acquisition instructing unit 14 makes an instruction to acquire broadcast information corresponding to the deficient part stored in the deficient part storage unit. A communication unit 161 or 162 sends a request to send the broadcast information corresponding to the deficient part to an external content supply source according to the acquisition instruction made by the deficient information acquisition instructing unit, and receives the broadcast information with a communication signal.
