PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device capable of easily confirming an output image regarding a recording medium to which a desired logic page is assigned or a desired recording medium, and an image displaying method. SOLUTION: This device comprises an input means (81), a display means (82), and a display control means (104) which determines the logic page specified with specified information of the desired logic page or the desired recording medium from the input means and assigned to the same recording medium as the specified logic page, or the logic page assigned to the specified recording medium and displays the output image to the recording medium of image data of the determined logic page to the display means.
