BRAKING CONTROL SYSTEM

A system for controlling braking of a motor vehicle provided with service brakes (18-23) acting upon all wheel axles of the vehicle and auxiliary brakes (25, 26) acting upon a driven wheel axle (3) of the vehicle, and means for sensing possibly occurring blocking of wheels of the vehicle and/or mutually different rotational speeds of wheels of the vehicle and upon such an occurrence create an ABS- signal, comprises a braking control means (27) adapted to select an auxiliary braking mode and adapted to automatically activate said service brakes to act upon at least two wheel axles of the vehicle when braking according to said auxiliary braking mode is carried out and the braking control means receives a said ABS-signal.
