<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device correcting the skew of a paper sheet to be fed, which is capable of correctly and consistently feeding paper sheets by finely adjusting the control of the skew correction so as to be adequate for the state of the paper sheets. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 has a pick roller 5 for delivering a paper sheet P from a paper feed tray 2, and a feed roller 6 for conveying the paper sheet P. An ASIC 9 determines the kind of the paper sheets and the remaining number of the paper sheets from the outputs of a paper sheet kind detection sensor 3 and a paper sheet remaining number detection sensor 4 for determining the paper sheet kind and the remaining number which are fitted to the paper feed tray 2; selects the skew correction value according to the combination from a skew correction value table 14 stored in a ROM 11 in advance, and performs the skew correction by controlling the rotational angles of the pick roller 5 and the feed roller 6 based on the selected skew correction value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
