<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide synchronizing intermittent operation between wireless nodes without using a high-precision clock means such as an electric wave clock. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless node 11 includes a processor for downstream 20 managing communication with an adjacent downstream node 12, and a processor for upstream 30 managing communication with an adjacent upstream node 13. Upon receiving data from the adjacent downstream node 12; the processor for downstream 20 transmits the received data to the processor for upstream 30, transmits an acknowledge to the adjacent downstream node 12, and halts the communication with the adjacent downstream node 12 during a predetermined halt period. Upon receiving data from the processor for downstream 20; the processor for upstream 30 transmits the received data to the adjacent upstream node 13.
