摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission line monitoring device capable of accurately detecting abnormality of an optical transmission line even if an optical fiber is extended and contracted. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical transmission line monitoring device 1, a decision unit 15 detects a waveform part which is a waveform part where all light intensity values of successive waveform shapes are larger than a threshold for predetermined waveform part specification in a waveform formed based upon distances and light intensity values included in normal-time measurement information and includes at least a peak of at least one waveform. Further, the decision unit 15 detects a waveform part which corresponds to the shape of the waveform part detected from the normal-time measurement information in a waveform of measurement information to be monitored, and performs abnormality detection based upon the shapes of the two detected waveform parts without depending upon values of distances. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
