<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regulating neoplasms. <P>SOLUTION: The method is generally related to the use of a mammalian cytokine molecule and a related reagent, more specifically related to identification of a mammalian cytokine-like protein and an inhibitor thereof usable in the treatment of cancer. The treatment of tumor by administering a TSLP (thymic stromal lymphopoietin) is provided. Furthermore, the diagnosis of neoplasms by bringing a sample into contact with an anti-TSLP or an anti-TSLP receptor and detecting the formation of an antibody-antigen complex is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
