METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL FILTER, METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING OPTICAL FILTER, AND ORGANIC EL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical filter usable in a display device, a method for surely discriminating whether the optical filter is usable in the display device, and a high-reliability organic EL display device. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the optical filter comprises the steps of: forming a color filter layer on a transparent base material; and degassing the color filter layer-formed base material. The method for discriminating the optical filter comprises the steps of: scraping away a laminate on the transparent base material of the optical filter by 10 mg; heating the scraped laminate in a nitrogen atmosphere at 220°C for 3 hours; and discriminating a non-defective product usable in the organic EL display device when a weight decrease rate (((the weight of the laminate before heated)-(the weight of the laminate after heated))/(the weight of the laminate before heated)×100) is≤1%. The organic EL display device is provided with an organic EL element, which has a luminescent layer at the least between electrodes, arranged on the optical filter, which is manufactured by the manufacturing method, on the side opposite to the transparent base material.
