PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for molding the winding end of the stator of a dynamo-electric machine which can improve its productivity by enabling conductor ends for molding to be molded into desired form easily and selecting them for sure from a plurality of conductor ends projected adjacently from coil ends. SOLUTION: A holding jig 21 is manufactured into a cylinder which has a conductor insertion hole 21a, and it holds the conductor end 14 inserted freely in a conductor insertion hole 21a. Then, the holding jig 21 shifts, on a circular arc with its radius at a distance L centering upon the base side of the projection of the conductor end 14, to the vicinity of the coil end 5, thus the conductor end 14 is bent into desired drawn-around form.
