<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to reduce stress applied to a hydrogen storage tank by dispersedly disposed hydrogen occlusion alloy. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydrogen storage tank, a tube 110 to be filled with the hydrogen occlusion alloy MH has a multilayer structure in which a plurality of fill layers 111 are stacked in the gravitational direction. A mesh layer 20 is secured on a base plate 112 at the lowermost portion of the fill layers 111 under such a condition that a hydrogen channel layer 21 that is a space into which hydrogen flows is secured. Further, the fill layers 111 above the mesh layer 20 is filled with the hydrogen occlusion alloy MH. Even if the pulverized hydrogen occlusion alloy MH is deposited and dispersedly disposed at the lower portion of the fill layers 111, because the hydrogen inflows from the lower portion of a deposit layer of the hydrogen occlusion alloy MH after passing through the mesh layer 20 from the hydrogen channel layer 21, the hydrogen occlusion alloy MH is blown up and dispersed by the hydrogen. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the stress by the dispersedly disposed hydrogen occlusion alloy at the lower portion of the fill layers 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
