<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal transmission system, an optical signal transmission method, and an optical path separation apparatus capable of simultaneously transmitting audio video optical signals with different wavelengths to a plurality of receivers and allowing each receiver to output a desired audio and video. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that a transmission apparatus 3 transmits audio video optical signals to display apparatuses 1-1 to 1-n, the transmission apparatus 3 transmits a path setting optical signal with wavelengths for particularizing transmission destinations of the audio video optical signals to the display apparatuses 1-1 to 1-n, receives response optical signals in response to the path setting optical signal from the display apparatuses, cross-references each wavelength with the display apparatus of the transmission destination on the basis of the response optical signals, and applies wavelength division multiplexing to the audio video optical signals, and transmits the resulting signals to the path switching device 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
