<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system for carrying out appropriate printing by supplying print data adapted to a state on the printer side. <P>SOLUTION: The print system in which one or more printers are connected to a print server 2 through a network, comprises a means for acquiring printer information indicating a state of the printer, from each printer at an appropriate timing; a means for generating and distributing metadata including bibliographical matters of a document to be printed and data storage location information from the print server; and a means for generating and distributing appropriate print data based on the printer information corresponding to the printer which sent a request when the request for the print data of the document to be printed is received based on the metadata from the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
