PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize measurement with high angular accuracy, even when beams are scanned at a high speed. SOLUTION: The radar device converts a transmission wave motion to a transmission beam; therewith matches the arrival direction from a reflecting subject of an object to be observed, with the radiation direction of the transmission beam; performs beam scanning; receiving the reflected waves obtained by a plurality of arranged receiving elements by using a receiving beam; calculates the angular difference between the transmission beam and a reflecting beam thereof, based on the assumed distance between the beam scanning speed and the reflecting subject; selects only the receiving element that receives the receiving beam from among a plurality of receiving elements, in response to the angular difference; and obtains the receiving signal.
