PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper part coupling structure of a pillar garnish capable of preventing the formation of a gap between the edge of a formed ceiling and the pillar garnish. SOLUTION: A door opening trim 20 bends a tab 28 and presses the end 22A of an edge 22 in the formed ceiling 10 via the tab 28 and presses the edge 22 to the pillar garnish 24 side, and thereby the gap between the edge 22 and the pillar garnish 24 is blocked by a load to the edge 22. By forming the tab 28 in the pillar garnish 24 in this way, the door opening trim 20 to be an existing part is effectively utilized to prevent the formation of the gap between the edge 22 of the formed ceiling 10 and the pillar garnish 24.
