PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark plug capable of reducing the diameter thereof as compared with a conventional one, and of easily ensuring sufficient reliability of a connection part. SOLUTION: An annularly-formed annular member 9 is arranged between a main fitting 1 and an insulating insulator 2. The annular member 9 has a shape formed by connecting a first annular part 95 arranged on the rear end side to a second annular part 96 arranged on the front end side relative to the first annular part 95 and having an inner diameter and an outer diameter larger than those of the first annular part 95. The first annular part 95 is fixed to the insulating insulator 2 by pressing the insulating insulator 2 into a press-in holding part 90, and the second annular part 96 is welded and fixed to the main fitting 1 at a welding part 91.
