PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility of human hand touching a horizontal terminal, in assembly process. SOLUTION: A deflection yoke 4 comprises a horizontal deflection coil, a vertical deflection coil 12, a ferrite core 13, an insulating frame 14 for insulating the horizontal deflection coil from the vertical deflection coil 12, a horizontal terminal 17 with its one end of windings of the horizontal deflection coil fixed, a horizontal lead wire 15 with its one end fixed to the horizontal terminal 17 and supplying horizontal deflection current to the horizontal deflection coil, and a terminal board 19 for retaining the horizontal terminal 17. The terminal 17 is so arranged so as not to be touched readily by human hand, without having to use a member that covers the horizontal terminal, other than the terminal board 19 and the insulating frame 14.
