PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operation of a playback apparatus which is not intended by a user. SOLUTION: A client server system comprises a video recorder 1, a server 31 to which the video recorder is connected, and a client terminal device connected to the server 31 so as to perform information communication with the server 31 via a radio network system. In the system, the server 31 is provided with an IR transmission unit 32 having a signal transmitting section 321 for transmitting a predetermined operation instruction signal corresponding to an instruction signal transmitted from the client terminal device and received by a radio communication section 313, and a shutter 323 for interrupting the reception of an operation instruction signal to be transmitted from a remote control device on the basis of an unintended instruction from a third party.
